Controversial Dancehall Artiste, Shatta Wale, has debunked rumours that
he belongs to a secret cult. Charles Nii Armah Mensah, as Wale is known
in real life, has said his career success is God’s blessings, and not
any cult he has been rumoured to be serving.
This is contained in a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Myjoyonline.com.
According to Shatta Wale, even though he doesn’t consider the
Freemasons as evil people, he is a true Christian who prays to God for
direction in every aspect of his life. “I don’t understand people who do
not believe in God.
I am not a freemason. Do you know how they behave?” Shatta said. He
then mentioned the real ‘cult’ he belongs to which is his Shatta
Movement group. “Shatta Movement is my Freemason. I think they are going
to enjoy how we live too. We only have time to talk to God and make
sure our plans become a success. SM is religious,” Shatta Wale
disclosed.
He also spoke on many rumours that his boss at Zylofon, Nana Appiah
Mensah, is a member of a cult and introduced him Shatta Wale.
According to that rumour, Nana Appiah Mensah signed Shatta Wale onto
the Zylofon Music record label as a reward for joining the cult.
“I think I have to ask him [Nana Appiah Mensah] if he belongs to a
cult. If he is then that is a prosperous one. He is open-minded and
studies a lot. He might not be a Freemason but that is the advantage of
research…” Shatta Wale said.
He is noted for many hit tunes including ‘Forgetti’, ‘Ayoo’, ‘Mahama Paper’, ‘Taking Over’, and many, many other songs.
Shatta Wale has been in the news recently following his leaked ‘adult
video’ that rocked the internet. He has also been in the news following
the up and down relationship with his long-time girlfriend and baby
mama, Shatta Michy.
After breaking up in April this year, the two are said to have come
back together again with Shatta Wale describing their relationship as
one for life.
He has also been in the news recently for revealing the real source of his wealth.
