Late entertainment pundit Bertrand Nana Turkson will be buried on Friday, August 31.
The 42-year-old died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) in Accra
last week Tuesday, August 7. The cause of his death is still unknown
though earlier reports indicated that he was diabetic.
His funeral arrangement was announced at his one-week observation on Tuesday.
According to his family, there will be no wake-keeping for him but there
will be a burial service at the St. Luke Anglican Church, Kwashieman,
on August 31. That will be followed by a private burial the same day and
then a thanksgiving service on Sunday, September 2 at the same venue.
The one-week observation was held at the St. Luke Anglican Church on
Tuesday and was attended by a number of media and showbiz personalities.
Among them were Socrates Sarfo, Bulldog, Mark Okraku Mantey, Andy Dosty and Ken Addy.
Nana, born Bertrand Turkson, is an entertainment critic and author. The
author of the ‘Success Journal’ is widely known for his depth of
knowledge in the arts and showbiz, sense of humour and objectivity.
He served as panel member on a lot of entertainment discussion
programmes on radio and television, including Joy FM, Zylofon FM and a
number of others.
He also worked as a board member for several award schemes, including the Peoples’ Celebrity Awards.
