OJ Blaq |
The rapper suffered from kidney failure some few months ago; a near-death experiences he says has changed his views on life and reality.
In an interview on Zylofon FM monitored by Ghanacelebrities.com, the musician confessed to leading a typical superstar lifestyle that involved a lot of partying.
According to the initial report, Blaq was very forthcoming on his life's story.
OJ Blaq was born Andy Alexandra Nii Akrashi. He joined up with Lynxx Entertainment in the label's early days with Asem, Eazzy and Richie Mensah and together they blazed a trail for the likes of MzVee and Kuami Eugene.
These days, OJ Blaq says he is using music and life's lessons to win souls for Jesus Christ. He said in the interview:
“I am not that guy anymore. God has saved me. I died and God brought me back to life. My old behaviour died with me. I am now a new creation”
He has a new single that he calls 'Have Your Way.' He also plans to go across the nation preaching to people about his new found way of life.
